   My 10-lb Chi-terrier hated car rides, would bark, howl and get bitey when I used a bucket-style seat that never seemed to stay in place. This new seat feels more secure, as it sits directly on the car seat and doesn’t swing around. The cozy lining and padded bottom and sides induced him into a long nap, something he’d never done in the car before! The only downside is the tether that attaches the harness to the seat is a bit thin, but a small quibble on an otherwise great item.
